2) Stubborn Sin? Hello, Recently, there was an object lesson I seen for Palm Sunday, that involved a rope and stuffed donkey, and talking about stubborn sin. Can you assist me with finding this? 3) Ten Commandments Toast for Preschoolers When working with my preschool kids I make ten commandment toast. I paint a number 5 on the bread with milk (with a q-tip before class) and then in class we pop it into the toaster . It has the shape of the tablets and when toasted the #5 magically appears. We do this as a reminder that the 5th commandment (the one about honoring our mother and father) is a very important one to a preschooler. Moms and dads are taller than our little people, they can see where the danger is and help protect us and guide us. They also can help us learn the rest of the ten commandments. These are God's laws that he has given us to protect us and guide us. The toast is topped with what ever the kids want, we make it a buffet. 4) Portuguese resources for girls >My daughter is a missionary in Mozambique and would like Portuguese resources for the girls she looks after... Hey Again, I found a few resources in Portuguese for Kath, but not as many as I would have liked to have found. By the way, I love this newsletter! I subscribe to several Christian newsletters and this is really my favorite and the one I look forward to the most. :-D Here are the links I found: http://www.max7.org/ Max7 claims to be an open source ministry library. From what I understand, people freely contribute to this site on a regular basis. At the top of the page you will find a bar with "Language" as the last option. You have a choice of many languages including "Portuguese" and "Portuguese (Brazil)." There are many more resources for the Brazilian Portuguese. http://www.christiananswers.net/kids/lesson-plans.html Christian Answers has several of their lessons translated into Portuguese. It's probably easiest to find them if you do a "Ctrl + F" and search the page for "Portuguese." http://www.answersingenesis.org/worldwide/translations Kent Ham at Answers in Genesis has several of his articles translated into Portuguese. He is a creation scientist and really helps to defend our faith against Evolutionists and their "religion" they are trying desperately to spread to our kids. http://www.bbnradio.org/wcm4/portuguese/ProgramsandLinks/tabid/571/Default.aspx BBN has quite a few broadcasts in Portuguese. Not sure if they will be beneficial, but they are worth throwing in I guess. You might also try using Google Translate located at: http://translate.google.com/ I know the translations aren't always the best, but from my experience translating Spanish, it should work more than well enough to be understandable and get the point across.
