1) Fair Pay

Yes, the head pastor or minister should receive more pay than those who work under him. I equate this to teaching and other jobs. Assistants get paid less than the one holding the lead position. The lead person often has more duties and responsibilities, as well as works more hours. The assistants serve as support in times of need when the lead person is unavailable. Also, sometimes the lead person does not work due to the many tasks he or she has.

2) Pakistani Sunday School

I am sending you Sunday school report.

20 boys and girls came for the Sunday school class. First of all, girl named Shani, said the prayer. Later on, a song was sung by all the kids regarding the creation of the world.

I shared the whole story of creation of world and kids listened it very carefully. They took interest in the story of Adam and Eve and Cain and Abel. They were very happy to know about them in details. I asked the kids to prepare a role play on the life of Adam and Eve.

They presented it in 20. Though they did not learned the dialogues and spoke but they just acted and presented how the Adam and Eve were living in the Eden garden and serpent came to them and asked them to eat the forbidden fruit. A boy, who could read well , he was reading the whole story from the bible and kids were acting accordingly.

When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, God became angry with them and he sent them out from the heaven to the earth. Kids like this story very much and they took keen interest in this.

After the presentation of the role play, we asked questions from them, and kids gave wonderful answers of the questions.

Children did not ask questions about the lesson because, the story which was presented in role play was wonderful and kids enjoyed it a lot.

We asked kids what they felt by presenting this story and learning through it. They were very happy and they said that they felt them real in that time and that character. It is a wonderful experience for them to be real character.

Through role play, they have learnt it very well and they wish to have stories in shape of role play to teach them in next Sunday school class. It was a long lesson; there should be one event and one story, not many. It will help a lot to understand if there is only one event or story.

At the end, Shahbaz, a boy, said the closing prayer.

5) Billy Graham "Dress Suit" Story

Re. last week's SSTN # 22

We haven’t been able to confirm that the quote is from Mr. Graham – it has indeed circulated for many years.
