2) Liquid Gospel Object Lesson?
I once had an object lesson teaching the gospel message using 4 different liquids, salad oil, water, and I don't remember what else. But I remember one of the liquids that was colored dark, when poured into two others, slipped between them and showed the separation of God and man because of sin. Does anyone have the recipe for that lesson?

3) Children's Music
Cary,
We have a successful Children's Choir at our church that includes children
from Kindergarten through 5th grade. They sing approximately twice a
month and have a big part in selecting the songs they perform. We have
practice every Sunday morning directly before the worship service which allows
them to practice right before they perform. We also always have the
words to the songs they are performing on big sheets of poster board. In
order to make their practice time a bit more enjoyable, we play musical games
in addition to practicing songs for upcoming performance.
Good luck establishing your own Children's Choir.

4) Accessing newsletter
Regarding those who don't always have online access...you can save the web page or print to pdf (using freeware) as an alternative to reading it online. You still have to access it initially, but you can save it faster than you can read it.

archives going back to Jan of 2000.

5) Armor of God...recyclables
You can use one gallon milk jugs for the helmets. Turn a jug upside down with handle facing you. Using a utility knife cut around the handle, the sides and around the pour spout. Work with it until it fits nicely over a child's head. Cover it with tin foil....for added fun have the children hot glue pom-poms, pipe cleaners, or foam shapes to their helmets. Shoes can be made of cardboard and shoe laces (like
sandals; draw around child's shoes) and belts could come from a roll of adding machine paper or strips of blue jeans. Use an old canning jar ring to hold the paper or cloth in place by going in and out of the ring then back again. Dianne, AL

6) Armor of God helmet
Just a suggestion you can use coffee containers (plastic), you may need to trim them
a little, For example Folgers containers, big enough to fit a little ones head as a hat. Just an idea?

7) F-r-e-e patterns for flags and banners?
Looking for f-r-e-e patterns for church banners. We want to make a different flag or banner for each fruit of the spirit and also character traits. We need templates for letters, in calligraphy or other font, and simple cut outs for decoration on the banners.
Sincerely,
Patricia Cardin

9) SSTN Format Inconvenient
Dear Oduenyi,
This must be very annoying. However I have a suggestion. I hope this is OK with SSTN, but I thought why not copy and paste the page into a document such as Word and save it so that you can read it when you are off-line? I hope I am not encouraging anyone to break copyright laws, but if it is just for you to be able to read again when you are not in a place with internet access it should be OK. It only takes seconds to open a document and copy and paste.
Frances
--from SSTN: you are allowed to print out SSTN, so long as you keep copyright
info intact. Also, ALL previous issues of SSTN can be printed from the website
archives going back to Jan of 2000. See search link, above.
