1) Song for Wordless Book
Hi all..esp Emmalea Butler,
I am really blessed with your idea using the hearts and singing to the tune of twinkle little star...in fact I have already used my
colored cut out hearts a few months back teaching our children about salvation...and I still have
them. guess I'll pull them out again this week and cut out more for the children in my group...
Thanks for sharing.
God Bless.

2) Christmas, A Promise
Kept?
This year our Christmas program is entitled "Christmas, A Promise Kept". I am looking for any songs, poems, recitations, etc about God keeping His promises especially about sending a Savior. We will also be doing scenes of God's promise to Noah, Adam, Abraham, and Mary. Any suggestions?

3) Halloween
I was raised in a Christian community by Christian parents & grandparents. My friends and I went trick-or-treating every Halloween and lots of fun every year. Some of the adults would dress up and go along with us. Even one of our minister's wives had fun doing this each year! I'm happy to report that none of us turned out to be criminals or "bad people". In fact, many of us are now involved in the church and community. Unfortunately, much influence by other cultures in our society has caused us to have to curtail our own children's fun at Halloween as many of the persons who have made our country their home find it fun to be mean to the children when they come around at Halloween. What used to be clean fun for us has turned into something much less so over the years. Because of this, we've had to begin alternate ways of having fun on that night, 'parties'/social gatherings at home or at church, etc. Children
don't have to dress up as horror movie characters or other gruesome characters. It's simply an opportunity to do
something a little different ofr one night of the year. If we're going to start condemning celebrations, then maybe we should look at some others besides Halloween, many of which began as pagan festivals.

4) Singing Books of the Old Testament
This is in response to Singing Books of the Old Testament. There is a DVD called The Amazing Book. There is a song on it called 66 Books. The children in our Children's Church learned all the books of the bible just by singing this song. We had them sing it in front of the church. It was a big hit. The words go something like this: 66 books in the whole bible, each one a special part, but I learned this song and it didn't take long 'til I knew them all by heart,,,,,,,,,,

6) Mustard Seed and All Saints' Sunday?
I’m new to Sunday School Network and am looking for an idea for a children’s sermon based on Luke 17:5-10. This is the Mustard Seed story. I’m also looking for ideas for an intergenerational event focusing on All Saints’ Sunday, Nov. 4
Thanks!

7)
Activities for Teens?
Hey there, I have started working in my church with the youth group. I'm in desperate need to find activities for them, they can include from outgoing activities to lessons. Anything is very helpful. Please help me if you know a few things. May God bless you all.
In His Name,
Edgar
--from SSTN: hi Edgar. You
didn't indicate what age level of teens, but for younger teens, the
"Lights, Camera, Action Bible Skits" work well: http://www.sundayschoolnetwork.com/Bible-skits-Mark.html
.

Does anyone have any ideas for a Missionary Conference using the theme of soccer? We are in the planning stage and could use some great ideas. This would be for children and adults.
